Why Fragrance Free
There have been a lot of people that have questioned why there is no fragrance in Kindred products. There are quite a few answers to that question, and I'd like to discuss them here.
#PositivelyStressed - Week 7
This week, let's dive into two powerful mindfulness techniques: #Mantras and #PositiveAffirmations. While both aim to ground us, they serve different purposes and have unique approaches to stress management.
I have a slightly different take on #Mantras than most people.
#Positively Stressed - Week 6
This week, people and organizations around the world observed #WorldCancerDay, embracing the theme "United by Unique." But what does this truly mean?
Hunter “Patch” Adams once said, “You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you’ll win, no matter the outcome.” This quote resonates deeply when we think about how stress affects those facing life-changing diagnoses.
#Positively Stressed - Week 4
I told my family that I was going to start writing about stress and wanted to hear their thoughts. My mother told me, “Just make sure not to send us back to Prohibition.” I promised her that would not be my intent, but that I would need to talk about alcohol consumption and its complicated relationship with stress.

#Positively Stressed - Week 1
I am an attorney, non-combat disabled veteran, cancer survivor, husband, girl-dad, dog-dad, and community board member.

Why am I saying all of this?
Coming soon.
Starting tomorrow I will be featuring a weekly piece written by a good friend of mine. A US Navy veteran and lawyer (among other things) Steve Delcuze is a friend I met in college. Life took us in different directions, but we always made a point to stay in touch. As luck would have it we both were diagnosed with cancer within a couple of months of each other and we became a source of support for one another.
